Parish Mission Prayer
Heavenly Father, we humbly beseech You to make us more faithful sons and daughters of Your Son’s Church. Help us to be joyful, knowledgeable Catholics living in the midst of the modern world, so that we may be beacons of light shining forth in defense of the Church’s Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and Magisterium, her teaching office. Help us always to cultivate the virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity in our daily lives, so that whether single, married, or as consecrated bishops, priest, deacons, or Religious, we may always share Your Truth with others. We ask this through Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
